G is for Gidot -A recent illustration for the incredible “fabric of your life” magazine Polly Leonard Working through the alphabet. Gidot sort of means leg of lamb shape 🤭these sleeves accentuated the pulled in waists ( hence the big X shapes.Demur to andogenuos- what ever it all works. Creating an illustration is always illuminating- I learn something everytime . I will be launching a new site - as part of our site - in due course . Don’t hold your breathe 😉

Woolie washing - please DO IT -Before you forget about your fav cashmere and all wool scarves and sweaters- WASH THEM .
Moths love foot crumbs and spills - I miss my mouth quite often 😂😬- if you wash and clean yours before putting away - I hope this helps : I am here to answer questions if I can . I am not an official expert - I just own a fine wool textile company and am rather sensitive about fabric care . Even washing one treasured piece at a time if you live in a wee appartment - do it ! Just don’t put the dirty stuff away without a cleanse . 🤔

The Dream Team? YUP We sort of are 😜- all with our different skills and qualities - we laugh a😞ALOT and genuinely support each other . So lucky are we . Birdy made it into the group - who we dont see is the incredible photographer and problem solver on a daily basis :) CERAMICS -Angela Ligouri : table linens and home -Sheila and Jadine (not here in this one ) stylist: Birdy and I . All holding one of our new pillows. NEVER A DULL moment .

It’s a huge a mostly delightful task to decide what dye and print colours to use for a scarf design. My recent love is what I call “oaty”. Ridiculously subtle but I relish them ( ) . Now I am thinking about a stunning splash for our booth display
Sharing a bit of process . Translating paint to dyes is one challenge and then each screen is a colour which goes ontop of other colours - overprinting - which I like to consider NOW! Results come in a few months :)
