We offer Unique Furniture, Milk Paint, Hardware, Home Decor, and Furniture Painting Lessons. I'm Kristen, Shackteau Interiors, was born out of a love for antique furniture, interior design, and giving old pieces of furniture new life. My husband and I bought an old Victorian home and I had a lot of furniture that I loved but didn't quite fit in with our new home. I decided to paint, stain, refinis

h what I had and fell in love again with my "new furniture". I also love the fact that I am able to recycle or upcycle furniture that would've otherwise been thrown in a landfill. I love to find unique pieces and the older the better! I specialize in painting with non toxic, no VOC's, milk paint. I love the finish it creates on older pieces. I get a lot of my coastal design and inspiration from my vacations on Martha's Vineyard. One of my favorite places to be!

This piece started as the top of an old china hutch, and I gave it a whole new life with Shackteau Interiors Milk Paint in Kettle Cove Green, added custom legs, and finished the backing with beautiful wallpaper.

I love how the Kettle Cove Green brings out all the classic details while the wallpaper adds that perfect pop of pattern. A little creativity can turn an unexpected piece into something truly special! ✨
