I think this is my 5th Donny shirt! I meant to make it months ago but someone summer turned into fall and here we are 😁💚juju

Why make one bag when you could make two?! I couldn’t decide how I wanted these fabrics to go together so I did both at the same time. It’s the Crescent hobo bag from Kandou Patterns 💚juju

IT’S HERE! 🎉 The Twig + Tale Quilted Loft Jacket pattern has officially been released!

This jacket has been such a special make for me. I went into it with a vision for using the linen scraps I’d been saving over the years, and I’m so happy I finally found the project worthy of letting them out of the stash. 💚
I never quilted anything on this scale before, and I’m not going to lie — it was a long process! There was a lot of piecing, quilting, sewing, and figuring things out along the way. But watching all those individual scraps turn into this jacket was incredibly rewarding.

I especially love that the finished jacket still feels like a collection of little memories and fabrics rather than one perfectly coordinated piece. It’s a little scrappy, a little unexpected, and very much mine.

And I absolutely loved getting to join the Sew + Show team for this pattern! I received the Loft Jacket pattern complimentary in exchange for joining the Sew + Show team, sharing my experience sewing it, and helping show how the pattern works on a variety of bodies. All opinions are my own.

Go check out the new Loft Jacket pattern and see what everyone on the Sew + Show team made!

Release festivities are underway for Twig + Tale | Sewing Patterns new pattern - the Loft Quilted Jacket! Head to their group and find the post with a giveaway for a free pattern.
I always enjoy being a part of their Sew + Show groups where I get a copy of the pattern ahead of time and get to create and collaborate with a wonderful group of sewists. So here’s another sneak peek - the other raglan sleeve 😁

A little sneak peek at a sewing project that pushed me outside my comfort zone. The Loft Jacket is coming soon and I can’t wait to show you the whole thing!

🍓 Cute baby alert! 🍓
I made these T+T Wayfarer baby shoes for my sister’s baby shower, and they finally fit! The strawberry fabric was just too adorable to resist and now my sweet niece can officially rock her first handmade shoes 💚juju

I really wanted to make something, but didn’t have a lot of time. I already cut and prepped the fabric so it was a quick sew to make this little pencil pouch (pattern from Anna Graham | Noodlehead )

Apparently I forgot to post these! 😣

I finished the Baker Barrel Leg Pants – View B last month! I made a size 8, but after wearing them, I think I could comfortably size down. I’m especially happy with this green cotton twill! It has just the right amount of structure to show off the barrel shape while still being comfortable.

I also made View A earlier (and shared those already). While I really like View B, I think View A is still more my style. The silhouette is a little less dramatic, which fits my wardrobe better. It’s been fun trying both views and seeing how different they feel. Have you made both views? Which one do you reach for more?

Voila! Yesterday was the day for which I had made this dress. Alas, it was a whirlwind evening and I didn’t get a chance to get photos. So here it is, the next day, in all the wrinkled rayon goodness! Open backed version of the Hayes dress. I shortened the pattern by 2” for my height. I made the top on size 6 and skirt in size 8. I feel like I could have sized down a bit more for a more fitted look on top. Regardless, it was so lovely to wear on a hot summer night!
