When the funeral home sent over the family’s request, they simply said he loved the outdoors. He loved hiking, trees, sticks, nature, and the peacefulness of the trail.
We asked the family if they could bring us his hiking boots, and from there we got to work creating something truly personal. We designed a winding hiking trail through the center of his casket cover, surrounded by natural elements from the outdoors he loved so much. His boots rested at the end of the trail, a reminder of the many paths he walked during his life.
The sign reads, “The Journey Continues.”
Because while his journey on earth may be complete, his heavenly journey is just beginning.
