Oh My God !!!! we participated in a festival yesterday name the Cat Fest at the Mesa Historical museum it was 102 degrees by 1 pm finally at 3pm they called it quits and let us tear down and go home at 104 degrees We had sold 2 gnomes and one paper box, not enough to pay for our space rent. We were damn near defeated, but at the lastminute this lady named Marsha came back and said she was interested in a few Gnomes, would we be willing to give her a break? Vic said take them all at $10.00 each so we did not have to pack them up and take them home. I made a face a face of "hey wait a minute" and Marsha asked if I was the one who made them, I said yes! she said OKAY I will buy whatever you have left for $10 each. All of them 17 Cat gnomes for $170.00.

Well, needless to say of course we took it after such a miserable day. When went through they payment process she went to get her car and park closer. She came back Vic carried the box to her car. We were so hot and exhausted we well I felt very blessed after the sacrifice we made to help these adoption agencies.\

We packed up our supplies and product then Vic went to go get the rig so we could pack it all up and go home almost 100 miles away but, on the way-out Vic forgot about the box of the RV and went pretty fast taking out another vendor's pop up. I jumped out apologized and got her number to replace the canopy and we left. Of course he did not talk all the way home.

We get home unload the rig came on the house called around and ordered pizza from Pizza Hut around 4:30 - 5.00. I called 3 times for the ETA and finally decided at 7:30 to take a shower and while I was in the shower our dinner came. Both of so delirious we put it in the refer and went to bed. We got up in the morning and decided to have it for dinner on Sunday night. In the meantime, Vic checked the CC statement, and they did refund the cost. But he also checked the sales at our brick-and-mortar shop and we sold another full price 10 gnomes there after 5 days of no sales.

This just goes to show that every cloud or heat wave has a silver lining if you survive the heat stroke. or the Lord works in mysterious ways.

We had so much fun yesterday at the Christ community church in Peoria. True it rained but we had many Die Hards that showed once it stopped. They were kind and very thoughtful. I loved all the vendors as well. So glad we were there.
