When finally after all the years fly by, you capture your family with your very own photoshoot for only one reason. To capture the most beautiful journey of all of our lives… We have always taken photos…or lucky enough magazine profiles over the last 18+ years where you can find family snippets. But this my friends was a very special impromptu let’s get it done before the girls leave on their next adventure photo opportunity. You all have watched our family grow, you have literally seen these girls grow up right before our eyes.

I quit my only job I had to be a mom. To be present. To have time. To be able to make my own decisions on how to raise my babies. I was so grateful I picked graphic design. I could do it from anywhere. I worked 24 hours a day for so many years doing my day job, making a paycheck while dreaming of being my own boss and building a textile studio where I could make my own things with my own prints. Never having to ask if anything is good enough. I did both while these girls were young and it was never easy, pretty or perfect. But what can say now is that these two souls get it. And honestly the man in the middle is and will forever be our anchor. So incredibly magical to stand in The Yellow Field in our own field of dreams.

Never give up on your vision even if it seems completely insane, or out of reach. It is through these visions that littles grow up and all the little steps turn into something tangible. So much love to all of you who stayed, believed, and carry our bags or live with our pillows. I am so proud of these girls who are always cheering me on every single day as I held their hands whispering to them anything truly is possible if you believe. Xx e
