This month is Su***de Awareness Month.

This awareness is very important to me as it hits way too close for me and my family. I'm not going to go into details, but su***de or attempted su***de has changed my family in so many ways.

If you or someone you know is thinking about su***de, showing signs that are concerning to you, their behavior is off, talking about their life being horrible etc etc. Please please please watch them and continue to ask them if they're ok! ❤️

Well, today is the day. On Sept 8, 2008 I was hired with the Seneca Nation.

I was given the opportunity and the chance to work with the Seneca people all those years ago. I'm thankful Debra Jimerson gave me the chance to show that I can do the work that I do and that I have compassion, love, & care for this community to help them and guide those I work with.

I've worked in the same department for all these years, it's like I'm a staple of this unit lol.

I've worked with many agencies and departments, worked with amazing coworkers to which some have gone on to new adventures, but we still remain in contact which is nice.

I've learned so much from the Federal Laws to protect the Seneca Children and Families, and continue to learn about their amazing culture and traditions the Seneca's hold dear to their heart.

I am just truly thankful and honored to work with this community and I pray I continue to work with them for many years to come.

Nya:Weh to the nation and the community for allowing me to work with you. ❤️

One of my most favorite ones I've done.

This one symbolizes that Mental Health Matters.

Being someone who struggles with Anxiety and Depression and past sexual abuse trauma, this one piece really hits home.

I made this for my counselor Sarah at Best Self. Just to say thank you for being there for me for the past 3 years! She literally is a life saver and she saved mine when I was in the darkest moments of my life.

I pray she likes it ❤️
