Maggie wanted 2 things:
1. A heat source for WHEN the power goes out.
2. A nice fireplace installed in the seldom used wood burning fireplace.

Maggie and Daryl worked with CountryFireplacesND to update their rural home with the comfort and convenience of a Mendota D30 propane gas insert . Now they enjoy their evenings by the fireplace knowing they will have heat even if they lose electricity.

Here are pictures of the Pacific Energy Neo 2.5 wood burning insert installed into the Johnson’s existing fireplace. Their old fireplace was inefficient and just didn’t heat like they wanted. Countryfireplacesnd helped them decide on the Pacific Energy Neo insert as it has the flush mount door so it doesn’t protrude into the room. We used a lift to access the 25’ chimney to install the stainless steel liner, many inserts recommend lining the chimney for better draft and no worries about a crack in the chimney. The new insert looks good with the new stone on the wall doesn’t it! And the family dog sure does approve as well!

Here is a video of the Pacific Energy Neo 2.5 wood burning insert installed into the Johnson’s existing fireplace. Their old fireplace was inefficient and just didn’t heat like they wanted. Countryfireplacesnd helped them decide on the Pacific Energy Neo insert as it has the flush mount door so it doesn’t protrude into the room. If you look on the video in the upper left of the window you can see the secondary burn happening above the main fire. Extra air is injected from the baffle into the smoke above the fire causing it to also burn. This is how Pacific Energy burns so clean!

And his human family is warm and happy too!
Their house was built from a kit from the Sears company in the 1930s. As the 2 pictures show the house is very solid but not much insulation! They are happy they can be warm this winter and many winters to come!

Lori had a problem in her house.

Lori’s living room was freezing in the winter and no one likes being cold in the winter, especially in ND 🥶 Her mother didn’t like it either and didn’t come very often to visit because of it, which made Lori sad.

She had a wood-burning fireplace that she never used and it made the house always cold and drafty. 💨

Lori called CountryfireplacesND to see if they could help her solve this problem. They worked together and decided to put a gas insert in her wood-burning fireplace 🔥

Now Lori’s living room is warm and cozy ☕️ Lori’s happy and her mom comes to visit now, which brings Lori a lot of joy!
