This is Cathy’s husband, Rick. It’s with great sadness and a broken heart to inform you that my beloved wife Catherine Maxville passed away on December 18, 2025. She had recently had a reverse shoulder replacement surgery. She was recovering very well, but passed away unexpectedly Thursday afternoon due to a flash pulmonary edema.  We had just celebrated our 47th wedding anniversary on December 9th. My whole life turned upside down within a four hour period on Thursday. The doctors in Hospital did everything within their power to save her, but were not able to do so.  My heart is broken. I would appreciate your prayers.

This is extremely upsetting for all my family & friends back home! We grew up passing this iconic place our entire life. We even built our last home in Oklahoma just two miles from this historic building!!!

I know for a fact we can find the person that stole this sign with your help and you all sharing and tagging friends. 🙏🏻

The sign has incredible value from the owner and zero value as a stolen sign!

This is by far the best tea you will ever drink! Especially there, Yall, Sweet Tea in peach … you can also get it in decaffeinated or caffeinated and you get to flavor it with your own sweeteners… That way you can go with no sweetener or your sweetener of choice… But you won’t be sorry they have so many flavors!🍑

I did some old fashion Barnwood crafting today… All of my fall decorations are in storage since we’ve been doing the remodel and so I had to make my own lol but it was a blast… I really like being creative with Barnwood. Happy Fall.🍁

Lolol!!! These girls crack me up so much… I’ve renamed them again, they both need haircuts very badly and so our LITTLE girls name is Phyliss a.k.a. Phyliss Diller and our BIGGER girls name is Gladys a.k.a. Gladys Kravitz… But Phyliss still has the middle name of Shrek… They just crack me up so much!!!😂🤣😅 They act like them and so Phyliss and Gladys are my cute little dollies! They sure keep me entertained! Lololol!!!😍

It has taken me a few days to process, but I realized that I can no longer stay silent!
Take his political views and political party out of the picture!
Take his opinions and ideas out of the picture!
Take his accomplishments and failures out of the picture!
Take his debates and passions out of the picture!
What is left is a man who loved and honored his wife and a man who was excited about raising 2 God fearing children! But HATE and EVIL took that from this family! This woman will never get to celebrate another wedding anniversary with her soulmate nor will she ever wake up beside him again, reaching for the only hand that made her feel safe! She will never hear the words “I love you” again from the only person that loved her unconditionally despite her imperfections and flaws!
This little girl was robbed of the moment that daughters dream about, the moment where her daddy walks her down the aisle.
This little boy was robbed of the memories he would have had of his father teaching him how to throw a football.
These 2 children will never get the opportunity to hear their father pray over them or to feel his embrace after a heartbreak!
Why???? Because someone thought by taking this man’s life due to his passionate convictions & beliefs (which is every Americans right by the way) and leaving a family completely alone to face this world without their hero was the answer?
God forgive us!
I have a heavy heart and I am fervently praying for this wife & these children as they navigate the days ahead without the person who loved them the most!
