I get so much enjoyment building relationships with clients and their family members to create environments that reflect their curated lives. Install in Park City ❄️

Our project has officially come to life. What began as a thoughtful furnishing plan for a ski-side rental is now a warm, welcoming retreat ready for mountain weekends and après-ski evenings.

Because we work with our clients across all of their homes and investments, this space was designed to be both beautiful and hardworking — layered textures, comfortable seating, and maximized sleeping spaces to host family and guests with ease.
Seeing everything come together at install is always the most rewarding part.

Park City, you are finally ready for ski season. ❄️

Renovations come with their own set of challenges — and opportunities. ✨

As Mary, our Senior Designer, shares in this Behind the Design moment from our East Grand Rapids Colorful Classic project, the magic often happens through collaboration. This bathroom was where the old and new parts of the home met — and it required creative problem-solving, rethinking layouts, and countless site meetings with our architects, contractors, and clients to make everything work seamlessly.

At KWD, this is what we love most — bringing together beauty, precision, and collaboration to create spaces that feel effortless for the families who live in them.

Michigan living means mudrooms matter! ❄️🧤 From snowy boots to rainy days, this hardworking space in our project needed to handle it all — without sacrificing beauty.

We designed a space where form meets function — complete with color-drenched blue cabinetry, cheerful yellow penny tile, and plenty of storage to keep things organized (and dry!).

Proof that practicality can still be full of personality. 💙💛
