I started doing floors with my father Duane Simmet (owner of Flawless Flooring Inc.) in my teen years. After high school i worked full-time at Flawless Flooring Inc. And then when the economy got real slow i had to leave for a bigger company, Rivershores. There, i was a lead sanding technician for 8 years. Now i feel my skills are honed and I'm ready to take my craft to the next level. I have a high expectation of my quality of workmanship.

Generally when a professional gives advice it's because they have gained knowledge from experience and are trying to prevent unsatisfactory results. If you are not a professional in the field of which you are questioning then FOR THE LOVE OF HUMANITY listen to said professional you are inquiring from. Amazing Wood Floors wants what is best for the customer. Granted I need to make a profit to living, but it is NEVER my intention to upsell for sake of making more off a project. I want only the best because it prevents problems in the end. Cutting corners is not the answer, it is only a temporary solution that will need addressing again.

Supply shortage issues are affecting everyone. It's become very expensive to operate and even worse is its getting to a point where money isn't the issue but there's no raw materials to make the supplies I need. Hardwood prices are ridiculous which means i havent done an install since last May. Dark days are coming.

Good read! This a great example of marketing manipulation. We are told & sold something to make ourselves feel good about helping but in reality we are doing more harm then when we started.
