Hi people, I'm still here but not actively pursuing ceramics as a business. Somehow I've had more messages lately, so rather than sending more "sorry, that's sold" or "sorry, I'm not making custom orders", etc. I'm just letting you know I'm semi-retired from the business side of my ceramics making these days. Etsy is a great place to find lots of special items by other ceramic artists ;)

I saw this on my personal feed and found these teapots so compelling I had to share! I love the textures and flow of the teapots' curves. A true hand building master!

My potter friend Paula Johns has convinced me to get back to the studio and get ready to participate with her in an event at The Flower Farm in Loomis on Sunday, November 21st :) I'll post more about it soon.

I haven't been doing much with clay since March 2020. Recently, though, I have been doing more with digital art, a medium I've been having fun with since the mid-90s. Yesterday I created something using Deep Dream Generator that kind of combines my love of clay and digital art. You may enjoy it, too! Life's been full of distractions; today I found myself in my studio and noticed that the daylight was good for taking pictures. Here are a few mugs that need homes. They vary in volume from 13 oz to 17 oz. They are $25 each. If you'd like to purchase any of them contact me :)

I've been totally neglecting my online presence for awhile now and noticed that lately more people are checking this page. Now that almost everyone is getting with the program on how to combat COVID-19, I can put away my nurse hat and focus on the fun stuff around my place like pottery :) I plan to update this page sometime in the next week.
