Just finished this brisket board a customer special ordered. Its solid white oak center, surrounded by curly maple. It's 32" x 18" and 3" tall with feet. The feet are handmade by us and are adjustable to allow for the juices to flow and level to any table top. The underside allows for a juice pan to catch drippings and is 5" wide x 4" with 2 1/4" clearance. The entire board is silky smooth and treated with mineral oil and bees wax. The small voids and holes are filled with Stone coat epoxy. We started this from a rough plank cut from our woods, happy to see it turn into such a nice piece.

This is 3 to 4 foot slab that is 3 inches thick. It is a piece of curly, spalted, ambrosia Maple. Its so full of character. We sealed it with Stone coat epoxy and filled all the cracks and holes with clear epoxy so you can see into them. The center has a layer of black marble chips but appears to be the bottom of a pool of water as its filled in with the crystal clear epoxy. The whole piece is a smooth as glass. I have 2 matches to this one almost complete. The legs are a welding project currently in the works soon to come.

Welcome to our page...Norden Makes. We will post projects we are working on and finishing here. Lots of things in the works. Our family has found an abundance of beautiful wood laying to decay and have made it our mission to save and showcase the beauty of these unique pieces. We also do some metal work, casting, welding and plan to combine these skills...coming soon..legs to the table top.
