It's been quite a busy Spring: my four-week Tulip subscription progam, followed by Hat Day at Franklin Park Conservatory, then a bustling Mother's Day and finally, two demonstrations for area garden clubs! Whew. Time for a break! Here is the story in photos.

Hat Day at Franklin Park Conservatory, yesterday, May 1. I designed and built this floral headpiece for Cathy in honor of her chairmanship in 2015 of the event. This year marked the 25th anniversary of Hat Day. This runway event raised over $600,000 for the Conservatory’s children’s programming.

For the third year, I designed a floral headpiece for Hat Day at Franklin Park Conservatory on Friday, May 1. Cathy, who chaired the event in 2015 and in celebration of the event's 25 years, wore the headpiece on the runway show. The annual event raised over $600,000 for supporting children's programs at the Conservatory. It's a pleasure to support this amazing place!
