The best part of picking up a bridal bouquet for preservation, getting to enjoy the story they tell before I put them to sleep. The smile on a brides face when she first sees them. The hard work of the florist to make her day so special. The moment the groom sees her and to be honest, is probably too captivated with her to notice flowers!! And that’s the way it should be! I can’t wait to start work on this.

Even when I’m traveling, I’m still a flower preservationist at heart.

Last week in Knoxville visiting family, I found myself doing what I always do these days, noticing the blooms, textures, and leaves that tell a story of a place.

These flowers and southern magnolia leaves made their way home with me to the studio A little southern inspiration now waiting to become part of something preserved forever. 🌸
