About the T3R Texas Regional Radio Music Awards
For over 21 years, the Texas Regional Radio Report (T3R) has been a driving force behind Texas/Red Dirt music, monitoring airplay nationwide and producing weekly song charts featured in Billboard Magazine. This year, more than 60,000 votes from fans and industry professionals were cast across three rounds to determine the winners. Established by Dave Smith and co-produced by Cindy Roberts, Tami Millspaugh, and AJ Vallejo, the T3R Awards honor the legacy and bright future of Texas music by recognizing exceptional artists, radio stations, festivals, and industry leaders. Officially recognized in 2019 by Texas Governor Greg Abbott, the Texas House of Representatives, and Congressman Ron Wright, the T3R Awards stand as the only state-endorsed music chart and awards program celebrating this vibrant genre.
