At Chamberland Woodcraft we look to find value, potential and art through taking the effort to upcycle.

Custom hand crafted wood-turnings; candle holders, bowls, platters, charcuterie boards, and French rolling pins that are made from local Maine wood and upcycled treasures. As trees come to fall in the forest, in the neighborhood, or across town, with what might otherwise go to rot, firewood, mulch, or waste, we seek the opportunity to find the deep joy, the valued purpose, and the hidden treasure

within each rich piece of wood that comes our way. Some of our handcrafted items are re-envisioned from discarded furniture. Here again what starts as upcycling leads to finding the hidden beauty and joy within – renewal. Our handcrafted pieces are fashioned to be their own one-of-a-kind piece of art to enhance table or home décor.

NEW DESIGN! Our updated M & M dispenser brings a smile to all who use it! We’ve sold to grandparents, teachers, professionals and all who enjoy M & M’s (or Skittles). It’s a conversation starter. A great gift idea for Christmas. The pictures below show the making of our new M & M dispenser. These will be available starting next weekend (9/12-13) at Wells Middle School. (Details in photos)

Hot off the lathe- Medium Spreaders uniquely designed and crafted of Cherry, Walnut, Maple, Sapele (Mahogany), and Oak. (approximately 10” in length). The one-of-a-kind 18” gorgeous platter beneath the spreaders is made from a variety of oak pieces glued together, then put on
the lathe. All of items and much more will be available at the September 12-13 fair at Wells Middle School.
