It’s hard to believe that autumn is already next month, but before we know it here in the Berkshires we will be surrounded by the beauty of fall foliage.

This historic meeting house in Salisbury, CT was built in 1959, and the client wanted to preserve the historic aspect while meeting their modern lifestyle needs and adding warmth.

We kept the original wide-plank floors, beams, and bones, worked with stunning architectural elements like that floor to ceiling fireplace, and finished with custom upholstery, period-appropriate case goods, and window treatments that provided an added level of character.

As promised… a look inside our recently completed design-build project in Sloatsburg, NY.

If you missed our last post, this is the second home we worked on for this client, consisting of a full renovation that included gutting and rebuilding practically everything: from new floors, trim, and casing to reestablished room flow to thoughtful landscape architecture, we created an entirely new feel to the home (that our client loved!).
