🎃 DIY Highland Cow Pumpkin 🐮
Turn an ordinary pumpkin into the cutest little Highland cow for your fall decorations! This cozy farmhouse craft is full of rustic charm.
You’ll need: 1 medium orange pumpkin, thick yarn in brown, tan, cream, and caramel shades, beige and dark brown felt, 2 foam or cardboard horns, cream-colored twine, artificial fall flowers, greenery, scissors, and a hot glue gun.
How to make it:
1. Clean and dry your pumpkin, leaving the stem attached.
2. Cut thick yarn into 10–14 inch strands. Mix different brown, tan, and cream shades for a natural shaggy look.
3. Hot glue small bundles of yarn around the pumpkin stem, letting them hang down the sides and front like long Highland cow hair.
4. Shape two curved horns from foam or sturdy cardboard, wrap them tightly with cream twine, and glue them near the top on opposite sides.
5. Cut two pointed oval ears from tan felt and add smaller dark brown felt pieces inside. Attach one ear below each horn.
6. Cut an oval muzzle from beige felt, add two round dark brown nostrils, and glue it to the lower front of the pumpkin.
7. Tuck small cream, orange, and rust-colored artificial flowers with greenery between the horns and secure everything with hot glue.
Display your adorable pumpkin cow on a woven placemat, entryway table, or cozy fall centerpiece! 🎃🐮🍂
