Some trends feel right at home for years to come.

The key to making a trend last? Choosing what complements your arrowkr and feels like YOU!

Rich tones and beautifully swirling grains make burl wood a fan favorite. It brings warmth and character to a piece without overwhelming the viewer. And the pattern feels like a work of art itself. 🤎

Sometimes, the smallest detail can make the biggest difference. Linen mats add a soft, subtle texture that gives your artwork a little extra depth and an elevated, tailored finish.

A little color can go a long way. Pulling a shade from your artwork into the frame brings a fresh perspective to the piece and lets your personality shine through.

There’s more to custom framing than finding a frame you love. 🖼️

The proportion of the frame, whether to add a mat, and your glass choice all shape how your artwork looks and lives in your space.

At Bennetts’, we work through these details with you, trying combinations side by side so you can see the difference for yourself.

Have a piece you’ve been meaning to frame? Bring it by—we’d love to help!

Artist Spotlight ✨ Meet Neelam Padte!

We’re so proud to carry Neelam’s work at Bennett’s and to share a little bit of the story about the artist behind the paintings. 🤍

Born in Mumbai and raised among artists and musicians, Neelam has followed her creativity through many chapters—from graphic design to hand-painted canvas floorcloths, and eventually, the freedom of abstract painting.

Today, her work draws inspiration from nature, shaped by her emotions, memories, and imagination.

Using brushes and palette knives, she thoughtfully balances color, value, and texture to create landscapes that invite you to slow down, take a breath, and stay awhile.

Painting is a meditative practice for Neelam, and that sense of peace is part of what makes her work so special.

We love being able to share it with you and help her paintings find their way into your homes.

Stop by Bennett’s to spend a little time with Neelam’s work—we’d love to show you more!

These edges deserve to be seen! 🤎

Topmounting the artwork on blue lets those beautifully irregular deckled edges POP! while the frame draws even more attention to their texture and shape.

Every detail works together to give the paper’s natural character its moment ✨

A great custom frame starts with a conversation. 💬

Learning about your space, the colors you love, and what your piece means to you helps us guide everything from mat and frame choices to preservation options.

Swipe for three questions to consider before your next framing project—and don’t worry if you don’t have all the answers. That’s what we’re here for!

A little measuring goes a long way! Knowing how much wall space you have helps us choose mat widths and frame proportions that work for your piece and where it will hang.

Gold, black, silver, or wood finish frame? Want to highlight a color in the artwork or complement your room's color scheme? We are all ears!

Some pieces hold memories you want to keep for generations to come. Knowing what your piece means to you helps us talk through preservation options, from protective glass to the materials behind the work.

Same photograph. Same frame. Two linen mat choices.

Would you choose the lighter cream or the warmer taupe?

There’s never a wrong answer—just the one that speaks to you.
