This one is a stunner for sure. A generational piece that has been in our client's family for years and passed down. Based on the style and construction this one likely dates back to the late 17th or early 18th century. Hard to imagine now this could be over 200 years old. That burled mahogany is amazing. It started off in not terrible condition but needed some help for sure. It is now a focal point and can live on for another 200 years. Contact us if we can help. If you like our work we encourage you to share our posts with others and follow us so we can spread the word and help others save this amazing older furniture that is out there. I assure you from first hand experience.... old is better!

This one started as a chest of drawers and ended a night stand. Our client liked the look of this old Bob Timberlake knotty pine chest of drawers but needed a beefy night stand for the space. We removed the top section of the chest keeping the top and bottom 2 drawers and base to make what is now their night strand. It also got a full refinish. Hard to believe that hardware was hiding under years of tarnish. If you can think it we can make it come to life. Contact us.

Whether it's indoor furniture or outdoor, it is still furniture. This outdoor table was made by our client's great uncle in Tennessee and was showing its age. Weathered and rotting but overall in strong structural condition. After a lot of cleaning, sanding, repairs and a fresh protective sealant, this table is ready for a Labor Day cookout. Let us know if we can help. We have you covered inside and out.

This outdoor bench got a new lease on life. It was in pretty rough shape. Failing paint, loose joints and just overall heading for a bad ending. After quite a bit of work to remove all the paint and basically reconstruct the bench to make it solid, this one is ready to go again.

This desk and chair was our client's parents and one she remembered sitting at as a very young child. Now with children and grandchildren they wanted to keep this in the family. A very well constructed desk, just need a new finish. It turned out great and something that can be used now and passed down to the next generations.

This old office chair came in just as that, an old office chair. All the finish was gone, all the metal parts were rusted. It was in tough shape. Our client had moved all over the world with this chair and wanted it saved. Now this chair is a stunning addition to any office.

Not a full refinish but took about as much effort. The drop down top of this secretary desk had been badly damaged with some deep scratches. Most were deep down into the wood. To repair it took a complete strip down of the old finish to get down to the wood to get the scratches out. This was the easy part. The difficult part, and the reason you call someone who knows what they are doing, is getting the new finish to match the rest of the piece. After several techniques using dyes, stains and toner coats, this one turned out great and the important part is the client is happy.
