The Office has more than one way to recognize questionable achievement.

Our certificates range from grand formal awards to playful whimsical designs, with educational celebrations joining the collection too.

Which style would you choose for someone you know: formal, whimsical, or educational?

A limited selection may appear locally before the full Office of Questionable Merit launch on November 1, 2026. We’ll share confirmed locations as displays are ready.

The Team Brooks Mercantile family just got a little more questionable.

Please welcome the Office of Questionable Merit!

OQM creates humorous award certificates for everyday talents that traditional awards somehow overlook.

Perfected procrastination? Easily distracted? Known for legendary dad jokes or saying, “Hey y’all, watch this”?

There may finally be an award for that.

Beginning October 5, find a limited selection at our Team Brooks Mercantile booths inside:

📍 Lee Street Mercantile — Greenville
📍 Hidden Treasure Barn — Royse City
📍 Hidden Treasure Barn — Wylie
📍 1850 Mercantile — Farmersville

Selections will vary by location. Stop by and find an award for someone whose questionable talents you appreciate—or claim the recognition you’ve earned yourself.

Follow the Office of Questionable Merit page for more laughs, certificate introductions, and our full launch on November 1.
