This is a vintage Handcrafted Italian Murano art glass Cat figurine.

It is a clear glass cat featuring a vibrant blue back/tail and suspended multi-colored tropical fish or goldfish motifs in the belly.

SPOTLIGHT 💡

This stunning original mid to late 1800s mirror is an absolute beauty.

The details in this wood and gesso (a mixture of chalk or gypsum, pigment, and a binder) are in incredible condition for a piece that is well over 100 years old. It does show a small amount of wear at the bottom (reflected in the price), but it is still an absolute show piece.

The mirror itself is nearly flawless, with no staining, discoloration, chips or cracks.

The frame is gilded (gold leaf or gold paint) that has patinaed beautifully and evenly throughout it's life.

This piece has been well cared for and would make a stunning center piece on any wall in any home.
