Perfect to toss on the ground for an impromptu picnic during a concert or to wrap around your shoulders while sitting by the campfire, you’ll wonder what you ever did without ‘em. Happy Muthah's Day to everyone who fills that role, in whatever form that may take! Idlenot will be closed today while Kate and Mackenzie hang out with their respective families (and probably spend most of the day knitting or crocheting).

A friendly reminder that we’re asking our fiber show artists to pick up their work by the end of shop hours today (we’re open until 4 pm) (This also means that you’ve still got time to get Mom that last minute gift, too…hint, hint….) as we’ll be closed tomorrow for Mother’s Day.

We love our knitting and crochet classes! They are perfect for learning new techniques, getting help with a pesky pattern or stitch and of course for anyone new and wanting to learn one or both of these amazing skills.

What can we say? We are in LOVE with how the 2nd Annual Fiber Art Show came together! If you haven’t had a chance to see it in person yet you’ve got until this Sunday until 4pm (and we promise, while the video gives you an idea, it doesn’t do the pieces justice.) Happy Things We Love Thursday!

We missed yesterday's Things We Love Thurdays because we were busy setting up things we love EVERY day: all of the amazing work by more than 30 local artists who are taking part in our 2nd Annual Fiber Art Show that opens TONIGHT! There are over 50 pieces, each as unique as the person who crafted them. Join us for the opening reception this evening from 5 pm - 6:30 pm, or this weekend when you're out and about during the WASHINGTON COUNTY FIBER TOUR this weekend (we're open from 11 am - 4pm Saturday and Sunday) or next week Thursday 11 am - 7 pm, Friday 11 am - 5 pm, or Saturday and Sunday 11 am - 4 pm while you're enjoying the Art and Ag Tour ! So many opportunities to love some local talent!
