It is with profound sadness that we lost Buddy this morning. Buddy came to us 2.5 years ago off the streets. He was our loyal shop/office mascot whom our customers came to love and adore. Buddy’s health had declined over the past week and we had some difficult decisions to make. He will be missed by all.

The annual Festival of Discovery begins this Thursday, 7/10. Main Street and a portion of Maxwell Avenue will be closed. You can access Greenwood Glass via Oak Avenue. A reminder that our parking lot is for Greenwood Glass customers only. Thank you!

Below are the primary detour routes as well as alternative detour and parking routes. These are the same routes we’ve used in past years, but we like to share them again to help everyone plan ahead.

Expect heavy traffic in and around the festival area. Please give yourself extra time when traveling.

We have no power, but we are taking care of customers in our parking lot. More than 300 claims have been submitted so far.

You can file a claim at 1-800-SF-CLAIM or you can use the State Farm app.

You can visit us on South Main Street. We have a charging station for your phones and we have a cooler with bottled water.

Greenwood Glass will be open Monday to serve our wonderful customers. We hope to have power but even if we do not we will be in the office to assist you with all your needs and concerns from this destructive storm. We appreciate you all and pray for the safety of Greenwood and all those affected by Hurricane Helene!
