Why do we scrape before top coating? 🧐 Once the flake has settled into the base coat, scraping knocks down any sharp, standing edges and lifts off loose flake. That leaves a smooth, even surface so your topcoat lays down flat, with no rough spots, no flake poking through, and a cleaner, more durable finish.
