Second comment, โbut Iโm interested in helping youโ. We started this company to help with my Father-in-laws battle with cancer. I was never intending it to be a company. All we were doing is making ends meet. I had worked in this industry making many Landscape and Hardscape companies rich for years. Knowing what I had been around, I saw companies getting fat bank accounts and not taking care of the homeowners. So, logic set in and I thought โif everyone can make a living at taking advantage of homeowners, then I can be successful taking care of themโ. Till this day, that mentality has built a company where we can support each other and our families. Since the beginning I have maintained a principle for the community โyou can call me, get advice, show you what needs to be done, direct you, and you never have to spend a dime with meโ. Heck, Iโve even gone further to say โyou can even go with the other company and I will still always help youโ. I have also extended it into our industry and helped other companies success by advising in how not to do something because I probably did it wrong 3 times before. I see so much talent these days. Sure, thereโs a ton of startups pushing to be seen from the competition. What many companies see is competition who take food of our tables and we can never grow from this. When I was apprenticing under the OOG of all this he said โDanny, you need to make friends with other companies. There is plenty of projects out there but there arenโt enough friendsโ. Young bucks, green horns, new start ups, and even the ones that are successful from stepping on necks, โwe never will make this industry what its supposed to be if we keep racing for the bottom to winโ. Do your work, know your worth, and take care of each other, and most important, THANK GOD EVERYDAY YOU JUST GET TO BE A PART OF ALL THIS. Yall take care of each other. We are all in this together whether you like it or not.
