This is AUTUMN IN THE GARDEN.
•Designed with only local flowers from and my garden including green tomatoes still on the vine, dahlias, berries, jasmine, heirloom mums, cosmos, abelia, limelight hydrangea, , yarrow, and hyacinth beans.
•I borrowed this antiqued stand from because I loved it’s dark patina. To make it water tight, I tucked a glass vase filled with chicken wire down inside the stand. It worked perfectly!
• Melissa gathered a bucket of flowers & special tidbits throughout the week but wouldn’t tell me what she was bringing. I collected the last few bits from my garden as well and *hoped* it would all pull together for this arrangement. Melissa knows color and design so well as you can see from the colors & textures here!!
