My garden's been harboring two little devils - my precious pepper plants. I've been impatiently waiting for my savinas to ripen to red. I finally gave in and plucked a savina to roast on the grill. Big mistake, or brilliant move? That first tiny bite was all it took - pure, unadulterated chaos. Snow whites (? Free plant, not sure of i.d.) are no joke, but these savinas? A whole notha level.🥵 Donnie Chilimancer Cockrum would be the first to get a care package if he lived closer😆

I whipped up some salsa today! I hit the jackpot at the Ava Farmers Market on Saturday - ghost peppers, baby! Okay, so they were green- but DO NOT underestimate the power!😆It's ridiculously delicious, and I can actually pronounce all the ingredients! Next time, we're throwing those bad boys on the grill and adding some extra garlic for good measure. Oh, and we only put the ghost pepper in half the batch just in case🤷‍♀️! Even green, it's 🔥 and has a delicious distinct flavor. Can't wait for our Red Savinas to be ready for harvest!
