Kendrick Home signs made right here in Edgewood, IA are one of my most favorite pieces we carry in our store! Today we celebrated our daughter’s graduation from high school and she used this sign for her guestbook! 🩶
We’ve got alot of great pieces in store including some great summer signs, collegiate signs and some river and lake signs! As we get ready to kick off summer, stop in now till the end of May and take 25% off any of our signs!

We often hear people say, I had no idea you had more in your store than candles. So here are 10 fun facts about Simply Iowa Market & Candle Co.

Did you know....

1. We're more than just a candle store? We sell home decor, florals & plants, Spartan, Iowa & ISU apparel ( along with a few other local schools), Iowa made products, kids items and much more! 🕯️

2. We have more than 10 other local Iowa vendors who also sell handmade items in our store? 🧼

3. We are family owned & operated! Our store is run by us, our kids, Carrie's mom & sister and on occasion a few close friends. 💙

4. You can find our products in 9 other off-site locations!🤎

5. We have a fundraising program where we donate back 35% of your total group sales to your organization. In 2025 we donated back over $7,000.💵

6. We have had over 90 different fragrances in our line. Some are retired now but every once in a while, we will bring them back for a limited time.

7. My husband and I started this business as a candle and wax melt business in 2023 pouring out of our garage. We now have a brick and mortar in downtown Grundy Center, IA but still love getting out into the communities and doing vendor shows when time allows. 🌎

8. Our goal is to have our products in all 50 states. ( so please keep sharing the love) We also have one headed to Jamaica later this month! 🇺🇸

9. We love partnering with other local businesses to offer gifts for their customers, housewarming gifts, etc. 🪧🏡

10. Repeat customers & making your homes smell amazing will always be our favorite thing about our small family-owned business! Thank you for continuing to shop small and support us whenever you can! 💯
