🤩🤩🤩OPENING MONDAY!!! 🤩🤩🤩

Today was a long and busy day! For those of you who didn’t know, we had a big tree land on our building. We were very worried for the safety of anyone who would come inside and for our vendors merchandise on the other side of the wall from where the tree was. Today we got on top of the roof we cut the branches to where we could manage the tree. Then we climbed on the tree and went to town with the chainsaw. Lo and behold, we fell that tree right alongside The Vintage Market Antique Mall with no damage. Not to mention all the other trees we had blocking our driveway, all the fencing that we had to take down. We also had to replace 30’ of flashing on the roof! But you know what we don’t mind the hard work because sometimes things like this really brings people together. And for the people who came out today and the other day and worked so hard, THANK YOU 😊!We couldn’t be more proud to call you family. The Vintage Market Antique Mall is truly blessed to have folks like you running your small business and taking the time to come out to make sure that we can get everyone’s small business back up and running!

We had plenty of people pull into the parking lot today and ask if we were open. For the 99% of you who were so very understanding and happy to see us out there working so that we can get your favorite Vintage Market Antique Mall back open, thank you all so much for your understanding! We cannot wait for you guys to come and be able to stroll through our aisles and find the treasures you didn’t know you needed😉

To the 1% who rolled their eyes 🙄and asked really!?!… (yes, this happened). Well, bless your heart. We hope your day got much better. And you know what? We still look forward to seeing you when we are open. Because in times like this everyone needs a little grace and understanding🙏🏼. You thought well enough of us to come out and hopefully take your minds off of things that were troubling you. So believe us, we understand your frustration. We want nothing more than to make our community happy. But safety comes first!

If you made it this far, know we will be opening Monday at our regular time.

We look so much forward to seeing everyone!

Have a blessed rest of your weekend 😊💜😊💜

♥️♥️As most are aware, Hurricane Isaias decimated the FL panhandle. I, Shug, am still without power (day 5) and did take a direct hit from the “Sting jet” that was the western wall of the storm. We are safe however sustained 97 mph winds (which hammered us for 4 hrs) and wind gust of 116-117 have paid a toll on our home, our cars, our neighbors, friends and family. Mammie & Shug’s will make it through this. Our vintage booths did not sustain any damage however, The Vintage Market Antique Mall did. We are slowly getting to get operations back to full throttle. Mammie & Shug’s encourages those who can to shop at our Destin location Smith’s Antiques & Interiors Mall. Please support small business owners that have invested so much time and effort in helping each other through this ordeal. Love and prayers to all as we recover from this together!♥️♥️
