About Us: Half Brain is the love child of Michaela Adams and Alyson Graves. The founders met while working in finances together and found that they clicked instantly. It became a long running joke that they share a brain cell and frequently finish each other’s sentences and have the same thoughts. Aly and Michaela wanted to provide a candle and self care company that’s inclusive and budget friendly for everyone while ethically sourcing organic and all natural ingredients.
Meet Us:
Michaela lives in south Mississippi with her long time boyfriend, their three cats and four dogs. She enjoys reading, play board games, watch the Office, scroll through tik tok and spend time with her friends in her free time. Half Brain is important to Michaela because it provides an outlet for creativity and spend time with her best friend while also providing an outlet for stress relief and fun times.
Alyson lives in South Alabama with their wife and four cats. They like to shop at estate sales and thrift stores, cook, and spend time with their friends in their free time. Half Brain is important to Alyson because it creates an outlet for them to be supportive of their friend and offer a sounding board for Michaela’s ideas and put them into action. But without either one of the two founders, Half Brain would not be able to function, after all, without both of us, we only have half a brain.
