In 1968, 57 years ago, Jack and I ventured into the small business world and with our friends and many wonderful new friends, we opened Jack Beattie’s House of Carpet. Through these years, we have enjoyed our community, our state, and our new and old friends. Jack died so our son,

Jeff, stepped in and he also enjoyed the pleasure of this Coastal community and the residents. We visited your homes, businesses and you became our extended family.



Due to illness, this year has been a very difficult year for our small business. I have great faith that this community will thrive. But I need time to spent with my family and “smell the roses”!



Our building and property has been purchased by a lifelong friend and

It will still be loved as we loved it.



We will remain open to finish our jobs in progress and if anyone needs

any extra material to store in case of repairs needed in the future, we will

be happy to gather that for you.



Again, it has been my pleasure to spend these years with you and I will

look forward to seeing you soon!
