Shout out to Chippy’s Cabin Cubes for saving my behind today!

So here’s the story- The last few days have been absolutely WILD. For those of you that didn’t know, my husband and I not only run our little farmstand but we also own C.D Small Engine Repair LLC and we have been BUSY!

We heat our home strictly with wood. Two woodstoves. When the garage gets slammed, it’s my job to keep the house and the wood stoves running. Today I was in full chaos mode (per usual): pampering the chickens, making sure the dog doesn’t try to eat a gallon of snow, playing with our daughter, and covering the small engine phone line. So… naturally I forgot something…

We’re about to head out for an urgent repair when I do my final stove check… and the downstairs stove is completely out 😩 I mean ZERO coals. Completely out! Our wood isn’t totallyyyyy dry, so I’m already fighting an uphill battle (if you know you know) The clock is ticking, everyone is already in the truck and I cannot get this thing to relight. I’m STRESSING!! With these cold temperatures we couldn’t afford to leave for hours without our main stove going.

Then I remembered I had a bag of Chippy’s Cabin Cubes from our Christmas sale!!

I repacked the stove, tucked half a cube (not even a whole one!) at the bottom, lit it up… and BOOM. Caught immediately. Within minutes the stove was back up and running and I’m out the door.

I am SO thankful for these little fire starters. They work insanely well and they smell amazing too!

Day 2 of the Charlestown Holiday Ramble is here!

We are so grateful for the amazing turnout last night. Meeting so many new neighbors and sharing our creations made the night truly special.

We’re open until 5 PM today with tons of gifts and décor still available. Don’t forget to enter into our FREE raffle as well! On the way out swing on by Rippy's Liquor & Marketplace and check out their heated tent full of amazing vendors, stop inside for a bite to eat and enjoy a wine tasting from Francis Ford Coppola!
