A space can feel warm and residential and still meet commercial code requirements. These two things are not mutually exclusive, but getting there takes expertise.

This gathering area at Broadview Senior Living in Purchase, New York, is a good example of what that looks like in practice. Comfortable, layered, and inviting, but still behind every fabric choice is a fire-rated specification that meets the demands of a senior living environment.

Commercial window treatments for senior living require a different level of knowledge than residential work. The best time to think about aging in place is before you need to.

Most people don't consider hazardous cords, hard-to-reach windows, or puddling drapery panels that have become a trip hazard.
