Enjoyed running a couple of our custom early 90’s grungy SP locomotives last weekend, the trailing 3 units are recent acquisitions that will be overhauled, “Lobotamized” and turned into run thru power for our DRGW layout (in progress)!

Please excuse the “flashing” walkway light on the lead locomotive, this is an illusion caused by the brightness of the LED and frame rate of the video. It is not visible in person.

SP 8313 is a Scaletrains SD40T-2 “Snoot nose” with distressed lettering, SSW 9395 is a highly modified Athearn “Primed For Grime” SD45T-2.

Test running this pair of Athearn Genesis UP SD60M’s recently completed for a customer, both units feature added details, LokSound, a fully array of LED lights and custom weathering.

A pair of ScaleTrains CPKC ES44AC’s completely customized with upgraded LED lighting and added lights including lit computer screens, overhead cab light, and step lights. Inside it has a Scale Sound System speaker and our custom LokSound file for the ScaleTrains GEVO (available on our website) with a K5LA option such as on this 4805 unit. 9375 received light weathering and 4805 received medium per customer request.
