We’re more than halfway through voting, and every vote counts!

Surf City Blinds is up for Favorite Home Installation/Maintenance Service in the 3rd Annual Topsail’s Top Choice Awards. We’re proud to be nominated and would love to take home the title this year!

If we’ve ever brought the showroom to your living room, consider this our turn to ask for a favor. One vote, about a minute, no measuring tape required! 📏

October is the right time to give your blinds and shades a proper cleaning before the holiday season kicks in.

🧹 Faux wood and wood blinds do well with a microfiber cloth run across each slat. Fabric shades and Roman shades can usually be spot-cleaned with mild soap and a damp cloth.

If your treatments are looking dingy or faded, that might be a sign it's time to upgrade rather than just clean. Either way, fresh windows make a room feel noticeably sharper!✨

Woven wood shades bring a natural texture and warmth to a room that almost nothing else achieves quite the same way. 🌿 Made from bamboo, jute, and other natural materials, they filter light beautifully while adding an organic coastal feel that works especially well in beach homes and relaxed living spaces. They're one of the first things we show clients who want their windows to feel warm and intentional rather than just covered. ☀️

From day one, we've done consultations in-home because the only way to know how a treatment will look is to see it in your actual light, against your actual walls, with your actual furniture. 🤝 We bring the samples, take the measurements, handle the order, and manage the installation from start to finish. That process is why our clients consistently tell us the whole experience was easier than they expected.

If you've been curious about what working with us looks like, the first step is a free consultation. 🏡

🎃 Every horror movie has that moment when someone opens the shade to check. The right shades put you in charge of the plot.

Oh, and for the record, he doesn’t work for us. We knock, show up on time, and never lurk by the van. Book your free in-home consultation today and scream less!

Over 13 years of experience measuring windows, from beach cottages to brand-new builds, and it turns out all that makes for some great reading!

David and Audra LaVoie sat down with Stroll Riverlights Magazine to talk about how Surf City Blinds went from a family business to the name your neighbors keep passing along. We’d tell you the story ourselves, but we’re probably out measuring a customer’s windows!

Grab a coffee and give it a read on our website!

We’ve hung a lot of shades in a lot of homes, and now we’d like one plaque on our wall!

Surf City Blinds is nominated for Favorite Home Installation/Maintenance Service in the 3rd Annual Topsail’s Top Choice Awards, and we’re aiming for the top spot. If we’ve measured your windows, installed your shutters, or finally solved that one weird window nobody else would touch, we’d love your vote!

Voting runs through October 31 and takes about a minute, which is less time than lowering a shade!
