I realized earlier today that I have not done many actual updates on my projects so I wanted to take a moment to do that.
My current biggest project is trying to get to 1000 followers on tiktok so I can go live. Once I go live, I can show my designs as I make them with NO GATEKEEPING, meaning I will show literally every single step so anyone watching can follow along.
My sub-goal for this going live on TikTok plan is to be able to gain MORE followers so that I can approach Hot Topic creators and send them a deck showing that people like my designs. They won't even look at me until around 1000 followers anyway. I want to see my designs in Hot Topic so there is a chance for designs that are not anime, Hello Kitty, Spongebob or other character-only stuff, because not everyone is into that and I feel it right there with them. Another company that has an independent content creation department is Spencer's Gifts and although they don't only sell Anime and Spongebob, I would like to show them some designed that are a little more...all audience friendly?
Another update, I published a planner today on Amazon! When it goes live I will send an active link and I will also be getting copies to sell in my booth at Crafty Corner Merchants with my other 3 coloring books. This planner is a minimalist style 2024 planner with month pages, a notes page, a monthly budget page and 5 weekly pages for each month. It is about 100 pages total and will be sold for $13 on Amazon. I plan on publishing more soon when the weather isn't so hot and I can spend longer in my garage before the heat takes over!
