This weekend we got the lights on most of the trees. Today we have a pick to go on. I’m pretty excited about this pick cause the lady suggested she had some Christmas and I know you folks love some Christmas. What are you hoping we find?

Let’s talk a little on the chaos in the world we live in now. No I’m not talking politics, I’m speaking of morals. My parents taught me to live by the 10 commandments. Which basically is our morals all combined into 10 parts. Yes we have all sinned , yes we sin probably on a daily basis, but God loves us with everything he has and wants us to do better. Today’s world is way off base with the morals/ten commandments. Everyone seems to be doing their own thing, thinking they are living their best life. I personally can’t seem to watch TV , listen to the radio or even go to town. It’s not because I’m judging so called people but I have no desire to see or feel their hatred for others. So no matter your age, just remember to be kind. Us older individuals aren’t adapted to your new ideas or new ways. We want peace and we just want to live our lives in hope that one day we will see the gates of Heaven. John 14; 27
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

Well yesterday was about trying to get organized up at the Barn. We hammered out some amazing displays and got lots of vintage Christmas in each one. But here’s the kicker, we all were discussing things we wish we could do and now we will be doing these things. Anyone want to guess what we want to do?

Sooooo we did this yesterday and I was so happy with all our choir girls and our set up. But here’s the thing; I went to an auction last night and ended up coming home with 2 more pieces of furniture. So everything we did yesterday will have to be redone today. Loving what we do but dang if it’s not frustrating. Just sayin…. 🎶silent night🎶🎶

We slipped down to New Market on Monday and did a quick refill. We had gotten 2 antique wooden hat forms, so I took one down to Shenandoah Valley Flea Market. If get a chance slide on down and check them out. The vendors are amazing and I guarantee you will leave with something. ❤️

Well we’ve been hiding some fun news. Jill Glick jmsgli is setting up a photo shoot on Saturday Nov 14th with her friend Abraham the Christmas donkey. So bring your family and friends and snap away. I mean who doesn’t love a donkey at Christmas. Just sayin…

Growing up I remember my mom letting me wear her tiny mustard seed necklace. It was in a tiny little vial on a gold chain. I have searched her house looking for it and it’s just vanished. Matthew 17:20 – “Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed… nothing will be impossible for you.” I woke up this morning as this was my verse for today. It makes me wonder what God has in store for me, for you and our world. Let’s all take a moment and reflect when our faith was bigger than a mustard seed or when it was as small as a grain of sand. We have gotten through the storms (big or small) . So today I’m grateful for a loving God and that he touches everyone’s heart.

We got another display started today. It takes a while to create an amazing display. You have to start with the main bones and build and start on that. So we are between bones and building. 😂 I go on another pick on Monday and Wednesday and I truly can’t wrap up these displays until after I see what sweet goodness I find next week.
