Dibble Dabble Decor

I picked up my pyrography pen for the first time in about 4 months today and finally finished this bear that I set down almost two years ago! It took over 20 hours to get to this point; 14 hours 20 minutes in burn time and 6 hours to trace it. I'm still debating on how to paint/stain it but I absolutely love how it turned out! Each picture is one hour of progress.

Day two of the carve prize in downtown Shelby!!! The weather is going to be great today! 🌞 Come on down and support the vendors and carvers at the auction tonight!

Head on down to downtown Shelby today and tomorrow! I'm all set up and ready for an amazing weekend! There's live chainsaw carving going all day both days, multiple food trucks, kids activities, and about 30 craft vendors. Come watch art be built from scratch and then bid on it and take it home with you!

Come on down to Shelby this Friday and/or Saturday where you can watch carvers start from scratch and turn a log into some beautiful art using chainsaws!!! I'll also be there set up with my wood burning along with some other great vendors! There are kids activities both days and Saturday you could get some square dancing in! 😂

🎉 We Can’t Wait for Friday and Saturday! 🎉

The Shelby CarvePrize wraps up this year’s exhibit with an exciting festival, and we’re ready for you!

We highly encourage you to bring a lawn chair so you can relax and enjoy the carving demonstrations and live auction. Don’t worry if you forget—we’ll also have 400 banquet chairs available on site.

A friendly reminder that this festival is made possible thanks to our amazing sponsors and the support of our silent and live auction bidders. The enthusiasm and generosity shown during the auctions are a key reason our talented carvers will want to keep coming back year after year.

So if you want to help keep Shelby CarvePrize thriving for years to come, bid high, bid often, and have fun! We’ll see you at the end of this week! 🔨🪵🎨🎉
