I am so proud! 🐯🎨 This little tiger cub turned out beautifully.

The fur texture and black striping give it so much character, and I especially love the sleepy, tucked-in pose—it makes the cub feel peaceful and cozy. The vibrant green background really makes the warm orange tones pop, too.

Painting animals has such a relaxing quality. There’s something wonderfully meditative about building up fur, markings, and little details while bringing the animal’s personality to life.

This one has a very sweet, gentle feeling to it. ❤️

Life can throw you curveballs, but it’s all about how you handle them. 💕🎨

The last time I painted was about two months ago. Moving my studio to a different part of the house was a challenge, especially getting everything set back up.

I’m so thankful for the love and support of my husband, who encouraged me to finish this piece so I could get back to painting again. ❤️

So, I picked up an unfinished painting and finally finished my turtles! 🐢🐢 I absolutely love how it turned out. It feels so good to be back at it! 🎨✨

Painting is all about layers—and patience.

This piece is a perfect reminder that you don’t have to sit still waiting for one section to dry. If the background needs time, move to the foreground. If one area feels stuck, shift your focus and keep creating somewhere else on the canvas.

Art doesn’t have to be stop-and-go. It can flow.

Layer by layer, step by step, it all comes together in the end. 🎨

There’s something incredibly satisfying about making progress on an unfinished project. It may not be fully complete yet, but after sitting untouched for a month, getting back to it feels like a win.

A shoutout to Mel Robbins and her 5-4-3-2-1 method. I used it today to stop overthinking, choose one unfinished project, and simply start.

Sometimes the hardest part is deciding where to begin. If you’re feeling stuck or unsure of your next step, look up the 5-4-3-2-1 rule and give it a try. Action creates momentum.

Still alot more to go to finish this project but it is a start today!

Being an artist means there’s no one “right” way to create—some people focus on one piece at a time, while others have a dozen ideas in motion.

I’m definitely the second type. I love working on multiple pieces at once—it gives me space to step back, reset, and come back with fresh eyes.

Today, I finally finished one that had me stuck halfway through. My vision shifted, I second-guessed it… but in the end, it came together even better than I imagined. That feeling of pushing through and seeing it click is everything.

Now I’m curious…
