There is a single tool I reach for in the dye studio almost daily… and it’s the reason I’ve learned to understand that all color is connected. While I have personal color preferences, and have honed down the MUSE color collection (kind of 😆), you won’t catch me throwing out a favorite color into the universe! Color is the single most fascinating thing to me… I could talk about it endlessly! That sunrise you can’t stop thinking about?? What color do you remember and how did it make you feel? That matcha you had on your trip last summer? Where were you? Memories have color. Feelings have color. How you experience the world has color… if I could collect color stories my cup would be forever full! I’m curious, Fiber Friends - what’s your color story? 💁🏻‍♀️ Does color connect you to a specific time or place or feeling?

Last year I was thrifting with my kids, and found an amazing curtain panel in a vintage shop in downtown Northfield, MN. After many washes (and the releasing of numerous stinky spirits from decades gone by), I sewed it into a Peppermint Pocket Skirt by . I’ve worn it with a red Tolsta Tee by .creabea … but the red just isn’t quite right. This magical skirt has the DEEPEST pockets - it can easily hold 5 full hanks of yarn just on one side alone. 😆 It’s the perfect market skirt to carry and tuck away a project while chatting with fiber friends! So I’m looking for suggestions on summer weight tops - knit or crochet… and help choosing a color! What say you, friends?! Drop it in the comments!
