Unique, vintage and fun??? You know JNTT has gonna have something for you! How about this 1950’s “hobo on a street sign” cast iron ashtray….he’s definitely leading this pack of goodies. Then we have vintage ceramic figural mugs, a Tilso Japanese Sultan and a Toby mug character. Last but not least, possibly the sweetest, the 1960 “Hobo Moppet” or “Big Eyes” series framed prints. So vibrant, ya’ gotta see them in person!

Time to brighten up this weekend here at JNTT! Let’s start with, below, that bright pop of orange which is a 1970’s vintage Chance Brothers glass gingham handkerchief bowl/vase, such a bright beautiful design. Sitting right next to it is a unique 8.7” tall, hand painted folk art scene, porcelain Hollohaza Hungry decanter.
However, when it comes to color these 1960’s vintage floral rooster tin plates on the right, got it! Their 9”, manufactured in Brazil by Action industries, and we found a set of 4. Come in and you be the judge! 😃

Anyone remember the whole pastel decor “nursery” fad? JNTT has a couple planters that may refresh your memory! On the left is a vintage pastel pink & blue PARMA Japan, 7 1/2 inch ceramic train planter with a music box (STILL WORKING) that plays a lullaby. On the right is a 1923 pink & blue KITSCHY “nursery” lamb planter. What a great vintage baby gift that could be passed down again and again!

Here’s a treat… a 1978 advertisement showing various sizes and colors of L.E. Smith Glass "Moon and Star" pattern jardinieres. Marketed for a wide variety of uses such as ice buckets and candy jars. Another fun fact, a lot of of these are sought after by collectors and some vintage sets have been valued at over $800!😮

Here’s some country kitchen fun! How about this 1950’s Bunsize of California’s vintage wooden burger press and Mason’s Meat Market vintage style cast iron coin bank, pictured below. Oh, you know JNTT loves its jadeite, so these stacked farm animal salt and pepper shakers are a perfect add to the country/ farmhouse decor. Don’t forget the little vintage black and white speckled enamel bean pot and 1984 “Down Memory Lane” circular tin, also great pieces to help give that rustic farm look.

Here’s some fun Fenton factoids for ya’! The Fenton Art Glass Company made beautiful glass for 104 years! Even thou they announced they’re closing in 2007, they remained open with a smaller team until 2011 to complete orders and sell inventory. Here is a page out of their 2011 catalog featuring some pieces for Mother’s Day and Valentine’s Day. Happy hunting!😃

It’s treasure time! Look at these little 1970’s - 80’s vintage collectable cuties that just found a spot at JNTT. Both are 6 inches, designed by Juan Ferrandiz and crafted by the renowned Italian woodcarving company ANRI. The figurine on the left is titled “Harmony” and the one on the right “Girl in Egg”. They will be available this weekend at the 49 Antique & Flea Market, along with more new treasures!😃

Another spot lighted treasure here at JNTT we just had to tell ya’ about! Below is a hand painted Chinese Monteith bowl. It features a distinctive scalloped or notched rim. Notable for its embossed lion head (sometimes called a sun face) motifs on either side. Historically, these notches were designed to hold the stems of wine glasses so they could cool in iced water. Today the pieces are used as a cache pot (decorative planter), or candy dish. Such an eye catching unique piece you gotta come see!

JNTT wanted to showcase this little treasure right here! This is a Jeanette Glass Shell Pink Pheasant Bowl, a vintage piece of milk glass produced in the late 1950’s. A unique serving bowl known for its distinct Art Deco design, featuring three detailed pheasants with spread wings that serves as a bowl. What a great piece, for a collector, a show piece, or a gift!
