**Post-Op Day 13 💪🩺**

Today was a tough one. Recovery from shoulder surgery and bicep tendinitis isn’t always a straight path, and some days hit harder than others. Pain, soreness, exhaustion, and frustration all showed up today — but so did determination.

Even on the difficult days, I’m reminding myself that healing takes time. Every stretch in physical therapy, every small movement, and every challenge is part of the journey back to strength.

Trying to give myself grace and remember how far I’ve already come in just 13 days. Tomorrow is a new day, another opportunity to heal, and another step closer to feeling like myself again. ❤️

To anyone else recovering from surgery or going through a hard season: keep going. The tough days don’t last forever.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms out there! 💐

Today feels extra special as a mom of four incredible kids who fill my life with love, laughter, chaos, hugs, and unforgettable memories every single day. Being their mama is the greatest blessing and the most rewarding journey I could ever ask for. Some days are messy, exhausting, and overwhelming, but every moment is worth it.

To my babies — thank you for making me stronger, softer, more patient, and more loving than I ever knew I could be. You are my biggest inspiration behind everything I do, including building 81st & Coe Crochet.

Today I’m celebrating motherhood, family, and all the little moments that mean the most. 💕

**1 Week Post-Op Shoulder Surgery Update – A Positive Check-In**

Today marked my one-week post-op appointment with Dr. Spellman, and I’m so relieved to share that everything is looking good so far!

This past week hasn’t been the easiest—there’s been soreness, limited mobility, and a whole lot of patience required. Simple, everyday tasks suddenly feel like big accomplishments. But hearing that my shoulder is healing the way it should makes it all feel worth it.

At my appointment, everything checked out well. No complications, no concerns—just steady progress. That reassurance gives me a boost of confidence moving forward into the next phase of recovery.

I’m still taking things slow, following all post-op instructions, and continuing with rest and gentle movement as advised.

I couldn’t do this without the support around me—especially my husband, who has been helping me through the tough moments and cheering me on through the small wins.

Recovery is definitely a journey, but today felt like a milestone. One week down, many more to go—but I’m staying hopeful, focused, and grateful for progress.

If you’re going through something similar, just know: healing takes time, and every small step matters.
