Next layer: my brother Andrew () was recently diagnosed with ALS and has expressed interest in getting the word out. I'm putting this here because, well, life has taken a sharp turn into unknown territory and our family is not alone in being touched by this "can't think of an appropriate word here" disease. I'll be hosting a fundraiser next year with likely lots of art, probably something tennis related, and definitely dancing...

What better way to break an Instagram hiatus than with a killer (still-in-progress) gallery wall for !?! There aren't many people I can claim as mentors in the unique craft of designing and implementing gallery walls, but Kristina is one of them. SJ Art Consulting would like to invite our arts community to a fundraiser event this Monday, April 14th from 5:30-7pm at our former gallery space, 43 Washington in Downtown Haverhill!! Owner Sarah LoVasco, a proud parent of a Walnut Square () student, was absolutely floored by the enthusiasm and support in orchestrating a Title 1 Art Night for the students back in March.

Please join us in celebrating the students and their families by enjoying a sensational display of artwork inspried by Artist Faith Ringgold's Tar Beach and Keith Haring's distinctive style and energy, all within a professional gallery setting. Donations of any amount will be accepted, and will go directly towards the school.

SJ Art Consulting has started off the new year staying busy with some exciting installs! Here’s a peek at a collaboration with Zephyr and Ore - an architecture firm that brought us onto the project.

This install was a two-day, whole-home curating + installation project in Nahant, MA. An incredible existing artwork collection, made even more joyous getting to place it in such a well-designed, light-filled home. One of the clients, Caitlin Ahern, is a painter and the row of small paintings featured in the living room are hers.

**fun fact** Caitlin will be a part of the rotating gallery program at New England Biolabs in 2025!

With snow flurries in the air today, winter is clearly upon us…so let’s focus on something bright and beautiful to liven up this season! This stunning window installation by Helen Popinchalk certainly does the trick and deserves a moment in the spotlight!

One of the things we love about our current show “Hot House” by Helen Popinchalk is that it showcases so many of Helen’s vast talents and abilities. Her creativity knows no end and this window display is a great example of that! From individually printed and cut handmade flowers to a changing light show, we can’t imagine a better way to invite people into the gallery to see this great body of work, and we love that Helen took her show to the next level with this display!

If you haven’t had a chance to see “Hot House” in person, you really want to make sure you do! Visit during open gallery hours on Saturdays from 10am-2pm through December 21st!
