Anyone who knows me well knows that I have loved JonBonJovi since I was 7 years old.
A few years ago, my family went to New Jersey on a Bon Jovi trip.
I went to the first place they played at, seen his home, and went to JBJ Soul Kitchen Red Bank.
I went there just because I was nosey and probably hoping to catch a glimpse of him in the back.
But once we got there, and I began to see the mission of the soul kitchen, my heart was completely overwhelmed with respect and love.
What Jon BonJovi and his wife have created there is amazing.
I quickly forgot about looking for him and became merged into the wonderful people and the mission.
For years I have thought about sending something to his staff to thank them for all of the hard work they do. A friends husband gave me the idea of painting something for them and sending it to the soul kitchen.
This year, I decided to do that. With the help of 305Designs Havre de Grace, we came up with this ornament to thank the staff of the soul kitchen. I believe in everything they are doing there.
So if they get it, or if they see this,
Merry Christmas to the JBJ soul kitchen staff.
Your making such a huge difference in people's lives, even mine.
