Last two years have been nuts, and while I haven’t posted much I haven’t stopped doing wood working projects. Sometimes it gets messy, don’t even recall what this project was haha.
Moving into 2022 I’m trying to be better at utilizing social media more and “actually” posting the photos I take 🤣 I am horrible at that. Cheers to an optimistic year!

This is the near finished result of a new style I’m working to incorporate with my designs. A countersunk, rounded design where the wood meets. Where I’m loving the outcome- it’s been a challenge trying to maintain consistency where the joints meet.
This is right after a coat of finish, but the finished product will hold 10x coffee mugs. Just waiting on the hooks!!

Hey everyone!! Been a while since I’ve posted but I’ve still been working on a few little projects over the last few weeks.
I designed this so it would have shelf and hanging space for necklaces/jewelry, but also offer some open space to attach photos, reminders, cards or whatever works. I’ve been messing around with chicken wire and I’m digging the style. @ Warren, Michigan

I’m so happy with how this came out!! As many of you know I recently got , and I was “hoping” to use this box to present the ring. Unfortunately I messed something up a couple days before the engagement and I wasn’t able to finish it in time.
Now that it’s finished I can’t get over how much I love the contrast between the and the . The darker wood is . For the I used a by . It really made the red vibrant. @ Warren, Michigan

Made this using Mahogany and Aspen, and topped it a polycrylic finish. Really happy with how this came out, ended up gifting this to my future father in law. Will be making similar things shortly, and hopefully more versatile to hold more than watches and bracelets. What do you think?? @ Warren, Michigan

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve made a post, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been busy!
Been working on this design for a bit, and trying out different stains to see which work better. It’s decor, not a functional item, that can be hung up on a wall and there’s a stand up version as well for coffee tables or workspaces.
So far I’m liking the Red Mahogany (pic 3) the most- it seems to compliment the wood grain in the way I’m going for. My goal is to intensify the wood grain so it’s visibly noticeable that it’s one piece of Pine. @ Warren, Michigan

FINISHED PROJECT 🙌🙌🙌 This was a custom project for a good friend of mine who quite frankly- loves her purses. The first design was a similar concept, but vertical. Happy we tried the horizontal design because it works so much better with this space.
I’m really excited about this concept and plan to make more with a variance of styles. So happy with how this came out!! @ DRC_woodworks

Started messing around yesterday as I wanted to try a couple new tools/methods I’ve been thinking about- but most importantly I’ve been super excited to try out this blue stain 😆 I figured starting with a basic frame would be worth trying and a bit later ended up with this! I’ve used chicken wire in a similar way for previous projects, it’s great because you can clip whatever you want to them. Photos, notes, small accessories, the list goes on. Unsure of how I I’d like to hang it in the wall, but the ideas are brewin’.
I’m lovin this blue stain, I was nervous about how it’d come out but I’m really digging the way the blue works with the wood grain. Excited to try some more 👍 @ Warren, Michigan

Recently finished a custom project for as her existing shelving were giving out. Added features such as a napkin holder, paper towel dispenser, pass thru’s for the power cord, and most importantly a lip for the shelves so the cats can’t slide things over the edge.
It can be nerve racking wrapping up a project like this, but I’m thrilled with how it came out 🙌 🙌🙌
