The designer of most of the motorcycle stuff I embroider (and not only) and one of the chain stitch machine “idea giver, pusher, come on Polly you can do it …” ordered his new vintage jersey as he will be racing a 1936 Norton in Norway this year. Of course he can’t just go with the Rudge or the Vincent I made earlier. 🙂

I love my friends and I love surprising them! Chainstitch vintage embroidery - one stitch at the time. I “borrowed” the old Scott motorcycle logo and embroidered a patch and attached it to the sweater. Dr Scott is an amazing person and a good friend and deserves a little surprise. We’ve met on the Motorcycle Cannonball, rode bikes across this beautiful country 5 times, then we rode the Musketball, then we went riding all the way in Mongolia. Now he is getting ready to ride his beautiful Scott motorcycle on The Loop in September.
