Today, I want to share the heart behind Kina Flores Home & Gallerie — a story that began long before vintage treasures, styling, or my business ever existed.
It began with her.
This is my grandmother, Virginia “Kina” Flores, celebrating 85 years of life, love, and immeasurable grace.
A woman who carries herself with effortless elegance… yet remains humble, warm, and endlessly loving.
She is the inspiration behind everything I do.
Some of my sweetest memories come from helping her care for her home — dusting her mantel, placing her porcelain figurines, rearranging crystal pieces, and tucking family portraits into the perfect spot. Even as a little girl, I felt the magic she created in her space. A home that welcomed you, embraced you, and told a story without saying a word.
As I grew older, trends stopped inspiring me.
What I longed for was this feeling…
A home that felt warm, collected, romantic — a home like hers.
Curating vintage pieces makes me feel connected to her, to nostalgia, to the beauty of a life well-loved.
And that is how Kina Flores Home & Gallerie was born — as a love letter to the woman who taught me that home is a treasure and that family is the greatest one of all.
Every piece I curate carries that same heart, that same romance, that same story-filled warmth.
Happy 85th birthday, Grandma.
Your legacy lives in every corner of my work,
and in every home these pieces find. 🤍
