Layered natural textures help the home settle seamlessly into the surrounding landscape, while expansive views from every room keep the connection to the outdoors front and center. Glass hallways link the living spaces together, creating the feeling of walking through the woods as you move throughout the home.

Seems like the perfect time to share photos of this three-season room—an ideal space for this time of year. Our goal was to create a comfortable setting anchored by memorable furniture pieces. Scullery kitchens are becoming popular in custom homes, so we thought we would share one of ours from some years back.

We leveraged a rustic chicken wire door to delineate the space while allowing light and some visual transparency. There are great textures in all areas and it is a great space to spend time in.

There are many ways to design these kitchens, and we find that they really reflect the client's need for form and function.

We designed some major flex space into this home. It has large accordion doors that separate the interior from the exterior spaces. They can be slid open to create a massive opening combining the living room and covered porch.
